What do I get?
Half of everything we receive for your work, on every channel, for as long as it's live.

What am I giving you?
A licence to distribute your work. Not the work itself.
The licence is exclusive, except the places you keep: Udemy, Leanpub, your own site or anywhere else you already sell. You list them when you submit.

Can I change my mind?
Yes. Either side can end the agreement, and new editions stay your call.

What creators ask before joining
Can I keep selling where I sell now?
Yes. When you submit, you list where it already sells, such as Udemy, Leanpub, Amazon or your own site, and those places stay yours. They're written into the agreement as Excluded Channels.
How long does it take?
About 15 minutes, once: request an invite, add your work as it is, and sign online. There's nothing new to make, and we only come back to you if a file is damaged or below publishing quality.
Is there a fee?
No, never. There are no fees or setup costs. We carry the cost of preparing and distributing your work, and only earn when you do.
Who owns my work?
You do. The agreement gives us a licence to distribute it. The copyright stays yours.
When and how am I paid?
We send a statement every quarter and pay within three months of the quarter's end, in pounds, euros or dollars. If your balance is under £75 it rolls over to the next quarter.
Do I need to promote it?
No. Most of these platforms sell to companies by subscription, so people find your work inside the library their employer pays for. There is nothing for you to market.
How do I leave?
Give six months' notice in writing. We remove your work from our channels within 12 months.
What do you do with AI?
We use AI tools, under terms that stop the provider training on your work, to make captions, quizzes and descriptions. We may also license work to companies building AI models, and you get half of that revenue too. You can opt out of AI licensing at any time in your account settings.
